McLaren 570S Spider Has Been Tuned to 637BHP

By Jon Derrickson on February 15, 2018

Recently, the Novitec team out in Germany managed to crank the McLaren 570S Spider up to 637BHP, which made it faster than the 650S Spider. They’ve integrated a ton of new features to bump up the specification, but the main ones derive from the N-Tronic electronic modules that alter the engine output at the touch of a button.

You see, if you’re able to adjust the boost pressure, and the fuel injection by pressing a button, you can get more out of the motor. So, you’ll feel the added brake horsepower, along with 692 newton-meters of torque, which is considerably higher than the previous version. Furthermore, the added power allows the car to push to 60MPH in just 3 seconds and hit a top speed of around 208MPH.

Now, the tuned version’s specs are very similar to the convertible 650S, but the 570S has more torque, which means it can tap into the power more efficiently. Alongside the speed, owners of the 570S can now make a statement out on the road, with an aggressive, loud exhaust system. Either choose from Novitec’s stainless steel variant, or the lightweight Inconel. Both utilize thermal insulation to transfer heat to the engine seamlessly.

Oh, and if you want to add a further element of sport-performance to it, just have the Novitec springs fitted, which reduces the overall height by 1.2 inches. While the performance is the main aspect to the 570S, there are also some fantastic exterior options to personalize your ride.

For instance, Novitec offer a full, carbon fiber body kit, improved front splitter that reduces lift over the front axle, and an amazing rear spoiler that enhances stability. If you love the carbon fiber look, but don’t want a full body kit, then you can just have it added to the air intakes, grills, and side-skirts. To top everything off, Novitec have produced a wonderful set of wheels that are 20-inches on the front, and 21-inches on the rear.

McLaren have really pulled something out of the bag with this one, and we’d highly recommend checking it out!
