Update: Maserati has added images and wallpaper to the Ghibli website and we have added those to this blog post. The "teaser" image has been moved to the end of the photo list.
Maserati has set up a new landing page teasing the reveal of much anticipated all new 2014 Maserati Ghibli. On this new page, Maserati has placed a silhouette of what can only be the grill of the new Ghibli with feint lines for the headlights and hood ornament. On this page you can register to receive updates from Maserati regarding the launch of the new Ghibli. Photos of the new car and additional news scheduled to be released on April 10, 2013.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, the new Ghibli is rumored to be an entry level sedan by the Italian auto maker intended to compete with the Audi S7, BMW 5-Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Cadillac CTS and the like. The all new Ghibli base model is expected to have a turbocharged V6 engine and rear wheel drive with an optional V8 upgrade. The starting price is expected to be around $65,000.00. The new Ghibli's namesake was produced from 1967-1973 as a 2 door coupe and spider (although the spider convertible is much more rare). It originally debuted in the 1966 Turin Auto Show and quickly became one of Maserati's most popular vehicles. This won't be the first time the name was resurrected, however, as Maserati produced the Ghibli II coupe from 1992-1997.
