The all electric Audi R8 e-Tron will be driven by fictional character Tony Stark (a.k.a. Iron Man) in the upcoming third installment of Marvel's super hero character Iron Man titled "Iron Man 3." The e-Tron was originally unveiled as a concept car in the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show and also shown again at the 2010 North American International Auto Show. In 2012 the R8 e-Tron made headlines when it set a record for fastest lap time on the Nürburgring for a vehicle with an electric drive train.
The Audi R8 e-Tron has 4 separate electric motors, 1 for each wheel, with a total of 3,320 lb-ft of torque.
