The Captain Planet Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the environmental knowledge of the next generation, is giving away a 2-year Fisker Karma lease. While the car itself retails around $120,000, according to the foundation’s website, the lease is valued at $50,000. In order to keep the raffle competitive, the Atlanta-based organization is limiting the number of entries to 200. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased for $500 apiece, and apparently there are quite a few left.
The Captain Planet Foundation says all proceeds will go to their Small Grants Program, which provides funding to teachers who are helping their students “to become environmental stewards and global environmental change-makers.” As to be expected, the winner of the Fisker Karma will be responsible for all taxes and other applicable fees. Visit CaptainPlanetFoundation.org to enter the contest and to view the official rules and regulations.
