The Sweptail, shown at the Concorso d'Eleganza at Villa d'Este auto event in Lake Como is the newest king of one-off builds. This beautiful 13 million dollar car was was commissioned by a private client, who came to the company with an idea for a one-off car inspired by Rolls-Royces from the 1920s. The organization originally declined to affirm its correct value, yet reports have evaluated the Sweptail at amongst $12,800,000 and $13,000,000. "Sweptail is the automotive equivalent of haute couture," said Giles Taylor, director of design at Rolls-Royce. "It is a Rolls-Royce designed and hand-tailored to fit a specific client."
Its bodywork is intended to look consistent, with the underside of the auto clearing upwards at its back making an adjusted "tail" that gives the Sweptail its name. Royce's famous grille has likewise been incorporated into the plan. Constructed with processed aluminum, It is the largest grille of any Rolls Royce built to date.
