New V8-Powered Trike: The Lazareth V8M
By Zlatan Stankovic on October 2, 2017
In our time in the auto industry, we’ve seen some amazing things and this feels like one of these moments after Lazareth, a French manufacturer, seems to have shocked the world with a V8-powered trike named ‘Wazuma V8M’.
Revealed last week, the inspiration is said to have come from the LM847 which was released just last year. As opposed to the two wheels, however, the Wazuma V8M has four with two at the front and two at the rear; the rear wheels have been brought together to form the unique shape. Although the four wheels mean that it isn't officially a ‘trike’, the close proximity of the two rear wheels forms the shape of a trike and should provide more grip than a traditional (three-wheeled) trike.
With a 4.7-liter V8 engine, the Wazuma V8M doesn’t have the biggest engine but, when compared to other models of a similar breed, it boasts a tremendous amount of power. With 520 lb-ft torque and 460 horsepower, this is in a league of its own and should outperform other trikes by some distance.
In terms of the bodywork, carbon fiber features heavily along with Lacantara Lelievre Paris and leather. From the outside, all fans of Batman will note a Batmobile-like appearance and it’s hard to disagree. In truth, it looks menacing, powerful, noisy, and stunning all at the same time. Designed all in black, the accent of red adds character and the video Lazareth has released with the reveal shows the trike in all its glory. As the model is taken through a green countryside, the black model stands out and looks simply unique as it climbs hills and travels alongside the beach.
As time goes on, we’re sure we’ll hear more about this model but for now it look like nothing we’ve seen before. Although we’ve said that in the past, it really is true with the Lazareth Wazuma V8M!
