If you’ve wanted to drive a 200 mile per hour Sport Utility Vehicle, Jaguar is on the precipitous of eclipsing this great barrier. With a current top speed of 176 mph, the Jaguar F-Pace SVR sits near the top of the SUV performance charts (the Lamborghini Urus sits on top at 190 mph output). Thanks to the assistance of the performance gurus at Lister, the British automaker is hoping to set new records in the SUV performance market with max output eclipsing the 200-mph standard.
Branded as the Lister LFP, this spiced up Jag F-Pace is being showcased in multiple online articles and PR efforts in an attempt to stimulate pre-orders of this new collaboration. With an estimated power output hitting the 670-horsepower mark and 502 pound-feet of torque, this supercharged 5.0-liter engine is the superstar of the LFP. Since the current output of the Jaguar F-Pace SVR approaches 550 horses, the increase of 120 ponies under the hood is expected to achieve 200+ mph.
This isn’t Lister’s first collaboration with Jag. Their 666 horsepower Lister Thunder is built on the famous Jaguar F-Type R platform. The Thunder was limited to only 99 units produced, but the new Lister LFP is expected to offer 250 of these production vehicles to the public. While exact specs are still forthcoming, one recent teaser showed this super-SUV painted in iconic Jaguar green, however, the predominate offerings will be painted black with contrasting yellow body and brake caliper enhancements.
Lister is currently offering the spiced-up Jaguar F-Pace at a cool $180,000 (USD). There are also rumors of a new exotic supercar coming from Lister, an enhancement of the Storm called the Storm II. The sleek supercar will belt out 1,000 horsepower from a Jaguar-based 7.8-liter V12 engine. The price tag on the Storm II is expected to approach the $3 million mark.
