Ferrari has unveiled an all new Hybrid Hypercar with a V12 Hybrid engine with 1,035 Horsepower and torque exceeding 664 lb/ft.

Specs have been leaking regarding Bugatti's final edition of the Veyron. Costing somewhere in the neighborhood of $7-8 million, this "Super" Veyron will reportedly have 1,500 horsepower and a top speed of 280 MPH. This final edition will supposedly have a W16 engine with improved capacity plus a reduced weight of ~3722 lbs compared to previous Veyron's.

The electric Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG set a new EV record at Nurburgring finishing the lap in 7 minutes 56 seconds. Not only is this the fastest time for an electric vehicle, but it is also the first electric vehicle to finish the lap in under 8 minutes. The record was previously held by the all electric Audi R8 who made the lap in slightly over 8 minutes in July of 2012.

Electric vehicles being the standard mode of transportation may be a ways off, but it just got a little bit closer as Elon Musk confirmed recently at the D11 Conference in California that Tesla would launch in the next 3-4 years an EV in the $30,000 to $35,000 price range.

Apparently we still aren't done blogging about specifics from Lamborghini's 50th Anniversary celebration event. During the event, Lamborghini confirmed that they will be taking the Lamborghini SUV concept, called the Urus, to production and we expect to see it available for sale by 2017.

Ferrari announced recently that it plans to cut production of Ferrari cars by 400 units this year in order to make Ferrari cars more exclusive. From the outside one might think that owning a Ferrari is already exclusive and not just from the price tag either.
