In life, we face difficult decisions and they normally decide how the next portion of our lives will go. While some decisions are small like choosing what to eat and how to spend our free time, others are large like our jobs and relationships. Within the latter category, we find our choice of vehicle.
Can you remember back to when the first-generation Mercedes-Benz CLS was released? Instantly, it became a hit and there aren't enough words in the dictionary to state how we feel for the model now. After this, they had the tricky task of creating a second-generation and this was always going to be difficult. No matter what they produced, there were always going to be people who didn't like it compared to the first; just as we see with artists and avid music fans who have become so comfortable with the first album. Now, we have the third-generation and it’s decision time once again!
When it comes to new cars on the market, it’s often the nicknames that capture the attention and imagination of the fanatics. With the new Mercedes-AMG A45, the nickname of ‘the Predator’ has already got people excited and it’s not hard to see why. So far, our information on the A45 is limited but we do know that company insiders claim it to offer 400bhp.

The electric Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG set a new EV record at Nurburgring finishing the lap in 7 minutes 56 seconds. Not only is this the fastest time for an electric vehicle, but it is also the first electric vehicle to finish the lap in under 8 minutes. The record was previously held by the all electric Audi R8 who made the lap in slightly over 8 minutes in July of 2012.

Audi is teaming up with Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volkswagen and GM to lobby US law makers to update a 1968 regulation requiring vehicles to have switch to change their headlights from high beams to low beams. The headlight technology has advanced tremendously over the years from sealed beam headlights introduced in the 1940's to halogen in the 60's and 70's, xenon lights in the 90's to the most recent light-emitting diode (or LED) headlights.

Many details of the all new Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG 507 Edition have been released already, but we are looking forward to the official unveiling in Geneva next week. This C63 AMG 507 Edition has a brand new engine that easily out performs those of its predecessors. The 6.2-liter V8 engine delivers a top in class 507 horsepower with 450 lb-ft of torque. It has a reported top speed of 174 MPH (electronically limited) and can go 0-60 in just over 4 seconds.
Details surfaced this morning about the potential successor to Mercedes-Benz’ SLS AMG—the SLC AMG. Intended to compete with the Porsche 911s of the world, the SLC is expected to start at a price point of $110,000—or about $90,000 less than the starting MSRP of the SLS (pictured above). Additionally, though the new sports coupe will share a platform with the SLS, it will likely be a somewhat shorter, lighter, and more agile version of its predecessor.
