Lamborghini Release Details for Huracan Super Trofeo EVO

In recent weeks, Lamborghini has been grabbing the attention of the masses after teasing reveals and slowly leaking information into the public. Just last week, Sant’Agata Bolognese welcomed representatives from Lamborghini and they announced the brand-new Huracan Super Trofeo EVO putting weeks of speculation to an end.
Celebrating a new partnership with Roger Dubuis, the Swiss watchmaker, the model comes after the GT3 version we’ve already seen. With higher aerodynamic efficiency than we’ve ever seen on a Lamborghini model, the latest addition will compete within the Lamborghini Super Trofeo ‘one-make’ series.
According to officials at Lamborghini, they had one aim with this latest addition; to increase aerodynamic efficiency while keeping downforce consistent with the previous design. Therefore, they got to work on a brand-new body kit and recruited Dallara Engineering to help with the design. In terms of the livery, it celebrates the new partnership with Roger Dubuis which isn't actually underway yet but will start next year.
New Partnership - Over the years, we’ve seen some strange company partnerships in the auto industry but this is one that makes sense. Since Roger Dubuis offer watches towards the luxury end of the market, Lamborghini believes the two match each other in terms of ambition, the pursuit of excellence, attention to detail, precision engineering, and innovation.
As of yet, we haven't heard any news regarding performance specifications but experts believe the most likely setup will be a 5.2-liter V10 engine and RWD drivetrain as we have with the LP 620-2 Super Trofeo. With this in mind, the non-EVO Super Trofeo can reach 611 horsepower while being helped by a six-speed sequential gearbox and the new model should perform to a similar level.
In the United States, prices will start just below $300,000 and we’re expecting its first appearance on the track towards spring of next year. For all racing teams with the current Super Trofeo car, they’re being offered the upgraded body kit to the EVO and, if the budget is in place, we can’t see too many rejecting this offer!
