One of only approximately 350 examples produced worldwide, the SL65 Black Series represents the pinnacle of AMG engineering during the era of hand-built twin-turbo V12 performance.
Powered by a handcrafted 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged AMG V12 producing 661 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, this Black Series delivers breathtaking acceleration through an AMG Speedshift 5-speed automatic transmission and limited-slip differential. Factory performance figures include 0-60 mph in just over 3 seconds with a top speed electronically limited to 199 mph.
Unlike the standard SL65 AMG, the Black Series was extensively reengineered by AMG with lightweight carbon-fiber bodywork, fixed carbon-fiber roof, widened fenders, revised suspension geometry, larger intercoolers, and track-focused chassis tuning.
