Offered for sale is this incredibly well-preserved 1985 Buick LeSabre Custom Coupe, a
rare one-owner survivor that has been meticulously cared for since new. According to the
owner, only approximately 5,100 LeSabre Custom Coupes were produced for 1985, making this
a seldom-seen example that stands out among 1980s American luxury cars.
Finished in elegant White with a Burgundy accent stripe over a plush Burgundy interior,
this LeSabre has been garage kept since new and remains in outstanding condition
throughout. The body is exceptionally straight, the chrome and trim show beautifully, and
the car is accompanied by an incredible collection of original documentation, including
the original purchase paperwork, maintenance records, receipts, key punch-outs, owner's
manuals, and even copies of a New York Times feature article in which the car was
highlighted.
Power comes from a 307 cubic-inch V8 paired with an automatic transmission. The original
engine was professionally replaced with a GM crate 307 V8 at approximately 48,000 miles,
and the transmission and rear axle have also been rebuilt. Today the odometer shows
131,725 miles, and the car runs and drives exceptionally well.
