Honestly? When was the last time you saw one of these? We have just obtained a 1979 Pontiac Esprit Red Bird. In an attempt to market the Firebird to the firer sex Pontiac introduced its first "Color Bird" in 1977. Called the Sky Bird (the name Blue Bird was owned by another company) this special Firebird Esprit was light blue inside and out with light blue accents on the honeycomb wheels made so famous by the TransAm. This introduction was so successful that Pontiac launched the Red Bird in 78-79 and the Yellow Bird in 80-81. This Red Bird is powered by its original 350cubic inch small block and 4 bbl carburetor. It is equipped with power steering power brakes air conditioning and an AM/FM stereo radio. We believe the 58711 miles to be actual. Body panels look to be original...there is no rust in the quarters or dog legs and the frame is solid. The cloth seats in excellent shape showing no signs of wear. The carpet is in excellent shape too. Here's a chance to own something you won't see at all the car shows...one of Pontiacs "Color Birds". Give us a call.
