We are Autohaus Lancaster-a VW, Porsche, Audi dealership in beautiful Lancaster, Pa. Thank for you viewing our 1979 MG MGB custom. We recently traded this MGB in and had our award-winning service department check it out. We completed a Pa state inspection including emissions and addressed some oil leaks. This MGB is converted to look like an earlier, chrome-bumper car, but the builder of this roadster didn't stop there. Under the hood is an all-aluminum Oldsmobile 215-cu. in. V8, a relative of the Rover 3.5-liter that MG itself would use to create the MBG V8, coupled to a GM five-speed gearbox. The metal dashboard, similar to that of the early cars, was customized with period-appropriate, chrome-ringed gauges, while all interior surfaces were covered in a combination of brick Red and Black leather.
