Beautifully Restored!
This 1974 XKE roadster is the last year of the XKE series!
Vehicle is beautifully painted red with a tan interior, rare Borg Warner five-speed transmission, air conditioning, power steering, power assist brakes, and power windows. Vehicle was expertly restored. Vehicle was taken apart, stripped it to the bare metal, and painted to the highest standards; all new chrome, rubbers, and gaskets were used upon reassembly. New wire wheels and tires were installed, and the dash and gauges were redone. A new exhaust system has been installed. A new pressure plate and clutch were installed when mechanical work was completed.
Work done after we purchased this XKE included installation of 12 new plugs with compression checked; it was 150 PSI on all 12 cylinders. We had all fluids changed, belts, and hoses, recharged the air conditioning, installed a new battery, and flushed the brake and radiator systems. We replaced the new fuel filters with all four stock carburetors and four new SU carburetors.
This 1974 XKE with rare 5 Speed transmission is one of the best-looking and best-driving examples of the e-type available today.
