1972 BMW 2002tii - Riviera Blue Roundie
Few cars earned their reputation the way the 2002tii did. It's the model that established BMW as a serious performance brand in America, and this Riviera Blue roundie is a well-sorted, driver-grade example ready for the next chapter.
The heart of any tii is the Kugelfischer-fed 2.0-liter M10 inline-four - the mechanical fuel injection system that separated this variant from the standard 2002 and bumped output to a factory-rated 140 horsepower and 130 lb-ft of torque. Underneath, you'll find power-assisted front discs, rear drums, factory front and rear anti-roll bars, and Bilstein shocks at the rear axle. The underside and wheel wells were cleaned with dry ice under current ownership.
Step inside and the reclining front buckets and rear bench are finished in blue Skai vinyl, retrimmed during prior ownership. A wood shift knob and Kenwood cassette deck keep things period-appropriate. The three-spoke wheel frames a...
