> This beautiful 280SL includes a black soft top, 14" steel wheels with covers, 14" wheels with chrome-finished covers with body-color accents, Michelin Defender tires,  European-specification headlights, a Nardi steering wheel, VDO/Kienzle clock and Becker Europa II stereo.
 
Very nice restoration work includes: Overhauling the cylinder head and fuel-injection system and exhaust system components, replaced the engine and transmission mounts, replaced the footwells and trunk floor, refinished and weatherstripping the removable hardtop, replaced the interior upholstery and suspension components, paintless dent removal work around the car, repaired the left tail light, replaced the shocks and tie-rod ends, replaced black soft top and the rear torsion spring for the convertible top, replaced upholstery on seats and door panels and dashboard pads, new carpet on floors, rear cargo shelf, and trunk, underbody, and wheel wells were treated with coating and refurbished the interior wood trim.
 
The vehicle includes service records dating back to the 1990s with various literature.
