Equipment includes power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, 14 inch steel wheels with painted centers, US specification headlights, an AM/FM radio, retractable antenna, driver-side mirror and black convertible top. The car remained with its prior owner for 28 years before being acquired by Sports Car Company in 2024.
The iconic model was designed by Friedrich Geiger, Bela Barenyi, and Paul Bracq and was introduced to the public at the 1963 Geneva Motor Show. Coveted worldwide this 280SL is guaranteed to delight.

The 2.8-liter M130 inline-six was factory equipped with Bosch fuel injection and was rated at 195 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. This gorgeous example comes with the owner's manual, a service record binder, and tool kit.
