Here we have an absolutely gorgeous, all original example of the 1969 Pontiac
Firebird 400 4 barrel 4 speed with dual exhaust, with the original engine, original
transmission and with the rare original color!
The 400 V8 in our feature car is original and solid through and through. It starts and
runs with authority, and it lets you know it's ready to run. It is a smooth engine,
yet with plenty enough muscle to prove it's ready for business. The 400 is a 4-barrel
variety, giving that extra power when it's needed. This amazing engine is mated to a
smooth shifting 4-speed manual Muncie transmission that would be equally at home in a
similar year Camaro. A Hurst shifter rows the gears with precision.
This Firebird features the deluxe interior and power steering, along with power disc
brakes. The seats have been reupholstered with a durable cloth in a pattern that
matches the original special ordered seat covers.
The car is rolling on a set of restored, 15 inch, Pontiac Rally II wheels, with brand
new BF Goodrich tires as well as new center caps, trim rings and lug nuts for a
factory-correct appearance. A rust free, southern, all original body with a super
slick, PPG, base-coat clear-coat exterior restoration, in the original color of
