Offered for sale is this impressive 1966 Buick Electra 225 Custom Convertible,
representing the top end of Buick's luxury lineup during one of the marque's most stylish
eras. Big, comfortable, and loaded with power accessories, this Electra is a great
example of the full-size American luxury convertible.
Under the hood is Buick's Wildcat 445 V8, providing the smooth torque and effortless
cruising these cars are known for. The car runs and drives well and has benefited from
several important mechanical upgrades, including front disc brakes, a rebuilt/new front
end, and new front and rear springs.
One of the strongest points of this Buick is its structure. The chassis is exceptionally
solid with no rot or rust holes, providing an excellent foundation for a car that can be
driven and improved over time.
The Electra is loaded with desirable power equipment, including power windows, power door
locks, power seats, power trunk release, power antenna, power steering, power brakes, and
a power convertible top. The convertible top itself is new, and the interior remains in
very nice condition.
The exterior presents well as a driver and would benefit from a thorough compound and
