Fort Lauderdale Collection is proud to present this 1964 Mercedes-Benz 230SL Roadster.  A piece of automotive history that can be driven and enjoyed, and a fine addition to any collection.

The Mercedes Benz 230SL is today what it was when introduced in 1963 at the Geneva Motor Show: a nimble two-seater that offers plenty of capability and race-bred technology to those enthusiasts considering a sporting roadster. The 230SL replaced both the 190SL and the 300SL. From its production in 1963 through 1971, just 19,440 were produced for the US market.

The 230SL features a bold exterior style, including the tall "pagoda" removable hard top and more squared-off lines than it's predecessor. It also has a more refined and comfortable interior. Horsepower was increased significantly from the 190SL, and top speed is 125 mph.

This 1964 SL is just beautiful. It's in fantastic condition, and is a pure joy to drive - smooth and solid, just like an SL is supposed to be. We're very impressed, and we're sure the next owner will be as well.
