 1960 Coral Red (L-351) rag top. This is a very nice car that was featured in Hot Vw's back in December of 2006. This was a creation of John Woosley who has built other feature cars in the past. He was able to find this car in California and had to have it because it was a rust free un hit rag that we all know is not that common any more. He completed a complete pan off nut and bolt restoration. This is one of the nicest 60's rag tops you will find anywhere... Since the restoration the car has had less than a couple of thousand miles put on it. Below is a build list. I am sure I will leave out some details but here goes...

-Original pans that were painted along with the chassis gloss black.
-The body and pans have RM products including urethane paint. Inside the fenders and the underside of the car is as nice as the top...
-All original glass except for a new windshield.
-Original bumpers, headlight rings, turn signal topers, hood and deck lid handles and door handles that have all been re chromed. The ignition key works with the door handle.
-Flat Four steering wheel.
-Berg shifter.
-Original vent wings that have been re chromed and put back together.
-Complete new wiring throughout the car.
-Custom made Blue vinyl seats and door panels, Wolfsburg West tan (oatmeal)carpet and head liner.
-Painted seat frames.
-Rare seat recliner on passenger seat.
-New Wolfsburg West seat belts front and rear.
-Stayfast canvas rag top.
-All new brakes including master cylinder, lines, CB wide five disks up front and KYB gas shocks in the rear.
-All new rubbers and seals.
-Brand new KCW 6inch narrowed beam with new tie rods. CB 3-1/2 drop spindles and new steering box.
-Brand new chrome Empi style five spokes wrapped in Firestone 135's and 195 65's.
-Brand new Empi adjustable spring plates and red urethane bushings.
