1960 MERCEDES BENZ 220S CABRIOLET RESTORED CLASSIC BEAUTY  RARE ELEGANT STYLE

  * Pale Yellow Paint with RedLeathers  * Very nice both mechanically and cosmetically * 2.2L carburetor-fed straight-six from the W180 generation model * Four-speed column-shift manual transmission. * This 220 S is from the final year of production * Reported to be one of only 1,112 examples of the W128 Cabriolet built. * The W128 generation model was the last of the 'Ponton' cars * A true standout creation from a period of particularly elegant design * Equipped with fully independent suspension. * Engine has been upgraded with twin Weber 32/36 carburetors, which provide more power and greater drivability (the engine's original Solex items are also included). * Cabin is equipped with a factory Becker Europa radio, and an optional Ivory steering wheel that is currently wrapped in red leather to match the rest of the interior. * The cabin of the 220 S was lavishly trimmed in leather and wood, and this car has been refurbished correctly with 'basketweave' seat center panels. * Impressive, elegant period-correct luggage is fitted for the trunk. * Full major service just completed including all fluids, belts, hoses and tune up * Vehicle runs and drives great * Very attractive in Yellow Ivory exterior, the paint is in very nice condition.  * Photos show the impressive finish, and also the fantastic condition of the underbody and floors. * Inside, red leather covers the front and rear seats, door panels, and the lower dashboard.
