This particular classic Volvo would make an excellent car for an enthusiast or collector. Surely, an enjoyable car for local events, or as a great running driver for the aspiring collector.
A nice driver quality classic Volvo to enjoy as it is which has recently undergone a mechanical refurbishment. Check out these "one of a kind" vintage decals adorning the body work and trim.
This was the first year for the 544. It is powered by a B16B 4 cylinder coupled to a 4 speed manual transmission. It has been repainted in the original color decades ago, still has some shine, and it is rust free except for the small bubbling on the rocker panel. It has no evidence of ever having any patches or rust repair. This little coupe has spent the last 18 years in Pennsylvania owned by a Volvo enthusiast and former 544 racer who purchased it from it's previous owner in Maryland. The entire brake system, exhaust, shocks, fuel tank and some suspension have been renewed a decade or more ago and then put in storage. It runs and drives as it should. Please review the pictures for the minor defects on this 60 year old classic  The dash pad has been replaced and the fuel system cleaned, the engine tuned and the brakes have been serviced. This is a nice solid rust free classic that we have checked out and revived as necessary. It turns heads and runs and drives as it should.
