This 1948 Ford Pickup Restomod is a beautifully detailed custom truck that blends unmistakable postwar Ford styling with a Chevrolet small-block V8, overdrive automatic transmission, independent front suspension, modern braking, and a long list of handcrafted details.

Owned by the current owner for approximately 10-11 years, the truck was already being transformed from its earlier life as a farm truck when he acquired it. He continued refining and upgrading the build over the years, creating the highly finished restomod seen today. Extensive paperwork and a large collection of receipts accompany the truck.

The exterior immediately stands out with its beautiful metallic silver and black two-tone finish. Gloss and satin/flat-black accents create a distinctive stripe effect, while hand-painted custom pinstriping adds another level of detail.

A set of polished vintage-style Center Line wheels completes the old-school hot-rod appearance, with a staggered tire combination of 205/60R15 up front and 225/75R15 in the rear.

Under the hood is a 350ci Chevrolet small-block V8, represented as a 1977-era two-bolt- main engine. It features an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, MSD ignition, finned valve covers, shorty headers, braided lines, and a distinctive high- flow Edelbrock air cleaner.

The engine has recently been tuned with new plugs and wires, while additional updates include a new battery and rebuilt alternator. An aluminum radiator with electric fan helps keep temperatures under control.

Backing the 350 is a 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission, making this vintage pickup much better suited to relaxed highway cruising than its original drivetrain would have...
